Whole foods Market | Bridgewater, NJ

This concept is prompted by the Dutch who once populated the area. Inspired by the simplicity of the Dutch-American handcrafted barns, rustic elements such as hand-hewn anchor beams and tree nails gave our designs guidance. We created a sincere and clean design package – with typography given some space to breathe and natural material such as white oak incorporated to convey the honesty and frugality of these settlers. Our modest use of copper elements (found in the nearby Watchung Mountains) and blackened steel brackets hint towards the newcomers, industry, and wealth that Bridgewater later attracted, due to unique positioning between Philadelphia and New York City.
